New restaurant opening highlights

Estero, Florida — The Cheesecake Factory

The Cheesecake Factory will soon open a new location in Estero, Florida. This casual, family-friendly American restaurant will serve lunch and dinner, offering an extensive selection of entrées and desserts.

Full bar service is expected to be available with an extensive cocktail list. The restaurant is planned to accommodate approximately 450 patrons, and catering will also be available.

The Cheesecake Factory story began in the 1940s, when Evelyn Overton was inspired by a cheesecake recipe she found in a local newspaper. After friends and family responded enthusiastically, she opened a small bakery but later stepped away to focus on raising her children.

In 1972, Evelyn and her husband, Oscar, moved to Los Angeles to pursue their bakery dream again. The first Cheesecake Factory restaurant opened in Beverly Hills in 1978. Today, the concept is known for a menu of more than 250 dishes prepared fresh and from scratch, along with its wide selection of cheesecakes and specialty desserts.

Lima, Ohio — Vallarta’s Bar & Grill

El Azteca has closed, but Vallarta’s Bar & Grill will soon replace it on North Cable Road, across from Walgreens.

This casual Mexican-American restaurant plans to serve lunch and dinner, offering a selection of Mexican and American dishes alongside a full bar. Check back for additional opening information.

Andover, Ohio — Brunch Box

Brunch Box will soon open on Pymatuning Lake Road, next to Ray Family Store.

The restaurant will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner in a casual, family-friendly setting. Guests can pair their meals with refreshing selections from the full bar menu, including mimosas.

Pickerington, Ohio — Bob’s Backyard Barbeque

In the mood for lip-smacking barbecue? Bob’s Backyard Barbeque will soon open on West Church Street in Pickerington.

This family-friendly barbecue restaurant plans to serve lunch and dinner, with smoked ribs, burgers, pulled pork, brisket and other favorites on the menu. Stay tuned for its opening date.

Rocky River, Ohio — Avon Lake Coffee

Wake up and smell the coffee, Ohio! Avon Lake Coffee will soon open on Detroit Road.

This quick-service coffee shop plans to serve freshly brewed coffee and light bites during breakfast, lunch and dinner hours. Guests will be able to enjoy their selections on-site or take them to go.

Blue Ash, Ohio — Aesthetic Cocktails

If you’re traveling along Reed Hartman Highway, keep an eye out for Aesthetic Cocktails, coming soon to Hamilton County. The restaurant will replace Wild Honey Cafe.

This casual, family-friendly American restaurant plans to serve lunch and dinner. Guests can expect burgers, sandwiches, traditional bar bites and selections from a full bar.

Charlotte, North Carolina — Taco’n Madre

Craving an authentic Mexican meal? Taco’n Madre is coming soon to Chancellor Park Drive in Charlotte.

This casual, family-friendly Mexican restaurant plans to serve lunch and dinner, with flavors inspired by Mexico City. Check back for additional opening information.

Asheville, North Carolina — Pizza Napoli

Stone Bowl Korean Restaurant has closed, but Pizza Napoli will soon open in its former location on Hendersonville Road.

The fast-casual restaurant will offer hot, fresh pizza and other Italian specialties in a cozy dining space.

Charleston, South Carolina — Big Kick Coffee

Who can ever get enough coffee? Big Kick Coffee will soon open on Meeting Street in Charleston County.

The quick-service coffee shop plans to serve freshly roasted coffee and baked goods during breakfast, lunch and dinner hours. Customers will be able to enjoy their orders in the dining area or take them to go.

Moncks Corner, South Carolina — Kyoto Sushi & Hibachi

In Berkeley County and in the mood for fresh sushi? Kyoto Sushi & Hibachi is coming soon to Highway 52.

This casual, family-friendly Japanese restaurant plans to serve lunch and dinner. Menu selections are expected to include sushi rolls, sashimi, kani salads, hibachi dishes and other Japanese specialties alongside a full bar.

Greenwood, South Carolina — Gather Bistro & Bakery

Gather Bistro & Bakery will soon open on Montague Avenue Extension, across from Dollar General.

The restaurant plans to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner in a family-friendly setting. Guests can expect American fare, freshly baked goods and selections from a full bar.
