Portsmouth, NH-based JUMPIN JAY\’S FISH CAFE (founded 2000) has increased by 1 unit, from 9 to 10 (11% company growth), with the addition of a new concept called Franklin House Oyster Bar.  This new concept marks the company\’s entrance into MA.  Other company concepts are Dos Amigos Burritos (4), Jumpin Jay\’s Fish Café (1), Moxy Restaurant (1), Red Door (1), Vida Cantina (1) and White Heron Tea & Coffee (1).  The restaurants are mostly upscale, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a $15-$50+ per person check average.  Multiple types of cuisine are served. The restaurants have full bar service and average seating for about 150.  Banquet facilities are available.  The restaurants trade in MA and NH.

Overland Park, KS-based K C HOPPS LTD (founded 1993) has increased by 1 unit for the Stroud\’s concept, from 3 to 4 (33% concept growth).  Other concepts are 75th St Brewery (1), 810 Zone (1), Barley\’s Brewhaus (3), Blue Moose Bar And Grill (4) and O\’dowd\’s Little Dublin (1).  The restaurants are family/casual bar and grill concepts, open for lunch and dinner.  Per person check average is $8-$20+, with full bar and average seating for about 250.  Catering and banquet services are available.  Trading areas are KS and MO.

Spokane, WA-based PIZZA PIPELINE (founded 1988) has increased by 1 unit, from 11 to 12 (9% growth).  This quick serve pizzeria is open for lunch and dinner, with a $4-$12+ per person price range. Delivery and online ordering services are available.  Locations are in OR and WA.

Missoula, MT-based HUHOT MONGOLIAN GRILL (founded 1999) has increased 2 units from 56 to 58 (4% growth). These full-service casual dining Asian style restaurants are open for lunch and dinner, with a $13+ per person check average. Seating is for about 175 and catering is available (in some locations) with beer and wine in all locations. Locations are franchised. Deerfield, IL-based BAB INC (founded 1993) has added new concepts, Brewster\’s Coffee (1) and Jacob\’s Bagels Bros (1) for an overall company increase from 77 to 89 (5% growth). Other company concepts include: Big Apple Bagels (57), My Favorite Muffin (18) and Sweet Duet Frozen Yogurt & Gourmet Muffins (2).  These quick serve bakery/cafes are open for breakfast and lunch, with a $4-$12+ per person price range.
