Inspire Brands began in February 2018 after Arby’s Restaurant Group acquired Buffalo Wild Wings. The company added other restaurant concepts through acquisitions, including Dunkin’ Brands in 2020. Inspire is headquartered at 3 Glenlake Parkway NE in Atlanta, Georgia and is the parent company of Arby’s, Baskin-Robbins, Jimmy John's, plus three other restaurant concepts. Roark Capital Group is its ultimate parent. Inspire’s portfolio has locations in all 50 states and Canada. The system includes company-operated and franchised restaurants, with more than 70% of locations that are franchised. Its concepts operate as quick serve, fast casual and casual/family dining. Meal periods span breakfast, lunch and dinner, depending on the concept and location. Primary cuisines include Donuts, Burgers, Chicken, Ice Cream/Yogurt, and Sandwiches. Across the portfolio, a typical location has about 90 seats and occupies about 2,500 square feet. Restaurant size and seating vary by concept. Counter-service shops can have small footprints or no seating, while casual-dining restaurants can occupy larger buildings with more seating.

The Restaurant Enterprise Index focuses primarily on companies with a substantial role in restaurant operations. Investment firms, financial sponsors, and other ownership partners are generally not included unless they also play a meaningful operating role; an otherwise qualifying entity may also be omitted when sufficient reliable information is unavailable.
The ownership hierarchy follows the entity structure from the bottom up, showing the profiled entity in relation to its parent organizations, including its ultimate parent. When the entity owns or operates concepts beneath it, up to three are displayed.

Leveraging Human-Verified Connections
- Collection: Filings and public records are gathered through intake procedures.
