Scottsdale, AZ-based KONA GRILL (founded 1998) has increased by 9 units, from 30 to 39 (30% growth) and entered into CA. These family/casual restaurants are open for lunch and dinner, with a $10-$30+ per person check average. The restaurants serve both Asian and American cuisines. Full bar service is available and seating is for about 275. Trading areas are AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, LA, MI, MD, MN, MO, NJ, NE, NV, OH, TX and VA.

Longmont, CO-based LA MARIPOSA RESTAURANT (founded 2001) has increased by 1 unit, from 3 to 4 (33% growth). These family/casual Mexican restaurants are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a $6-$15+ per person check average. The retaurants have full bar service and seating for about 200. Catering is also available. The locations are all in CO.

CHeyenne, WY-based TACO JOHN\’S (founded 1968) has increased by 8 units, from 389 to 397 (2% growth) and entered into MI.  This quick serve Mexican concept is open for lunch and dinner, with a $4-$12+ per person price range.  Units seat about 50 and offer drive-thru service.  Locations are franchised and trade in AR, AZ, CO, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MN, MO, MT, ND, NE, NV, NY, OH, SD, TN, VA, WA, WI and WY.

San Francisco, CA-based THE STINKING ROSE has added a concept called Frankie\’s Pier 43 (1 unit).  Other company concepts include Calzone\’s (1), Crab House At Pier 39 (1), Franciscan Crab Restaurant (1), Osso Steak House (1), Salito\’s Crab House & Prime Rib (1), The Dead Fish (1), The Old Clam House (1) and The Stinking Rose (2). Overall company increase was from 9 to 10 (11% company growth).  The restaurants are upscale, serving steak and seafood.  Meal periods are lunch and dinner, with a $15-$50+ per person check average.  The restaurants have full bar service and average seating for about 300.  Banquet rooms are available. All the restaurants are located in CA.

California-based THE SLAW DOGS (founded 2010) has increased by 1 unit, from 2 to 3 (50% growth).  This fast casual hot dog & burger concept is open for lunch and dinner, with a $4-$12+ per person price range. Beer and wine are served and average seating is for about 40.  All the restaurants are located in CA.

New York, NY-based FIG & OLIVE has increased by 1 unit, from 7 to 8 (14% growth) and entered into DC.  This upscale Mediterranean concept is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a $15-$50+ per person check average.  The restaurants have full bar service and average seating for about 125.  Catering and banquet services are available.  Locations trade in CA, DC, IL and NY.

This family/casual Mexican concept is open for lunch and dinner, with an $8-$20+ per person check average. Full bar service is available and seating is for about 150. Catering is also offered. All are located in IL.

Waite Park, MN-based GRIZZLY\’S GRILL N\’ SALOON (founded 1995) has increased by 2 units for the Boulder Tap House concept, from 3 to 5 (67% growth) and entered into IA.  Other company concepts are Grizzly\’s Woodfired Grill (13), Milwaukee Burger Co (5), Omaha Tap House (1), Poncho & Lefty\’s (1) and Woody\’s Grill (3).  These family/casual concepts serve American cuisine, open for lunch and dinner.  Per person check average is $8-$20+, with full bar and seating for about 200.  Trading areas are IA, MN, ND, NE and WI.

Chicago, IL-based SUPAROSSA RESTAURANT GROUP (founded 1977) has increased by 1 unit for Pete\’s Pizzeria, from 1 to 2 (100% concept growth) and added concepts called Legno (1 unit) and Mia\’s Gelato (1 unit).  Other concepts are Biagio Catering & Banquets (1), Cucina Biagio (1), Porto Bello (1), Real Time Sports Bar & Grill (1), Suparossa (3) and The Belvedere (1).  Overall company increase was from 9 to 12 (33% growth).  The restaurants are mostly upscale, serving Italian cuisine.  Per person check average is $15-$50+, with full bar and seating for about 150.  Catering, banquet, online ordering and delivery services are available.  Trading areas are FL and IL.
