Robeks is a Los Angeles, California fast casual juice and smoothie franchisor headquartered at 5220 Pacific Concourse Dr. Founder David Robertson opened the first store on the Southern California coast in 1996 after failing to find fast, nutrient-dense food that fit his active lifestyle, launching with made-to-order smoothies, a fresh-squeezed juice bar and acai bowls years before they went mainstream. The company spent its first five years building and operating its own stores to refine recipes and systems, then began franchising in 2001 and sold those corporate stores to independent operators so the home office could focus entirely on franchise support. The brand stresses operator-led leadership, with many franchisees who have owned their stores for decades. Today nearly every location is franchised. The footprint is strongest in Southern California and the West, with franchised stores reaching the Mountain West, the Midwest and the East Coast. Menus cover lunch and dinner with smoothies, fresh juices, acai and superfood bowls, wellness shots, artisan toasts and warm handhelds. Typical stores are compact grab-and-go shops with roughly 10 seats in about 1,000 square feet.

The Restaurant Enterprise Index focuses primarily on companies with a substantial role in restaurant operations. Investment firms, financial sponsors, and other ownership partners are generally not included unless they also play a meaningful operating role; an otherwise qualifying entity may also be omitted when sufficient reliable information is unavailable.
The ownership hierarchy follows the entity structure from the bottom up, showing the profiled entity in relation to its parent organizations, including its ultimate parent. When the entity owns or operates concepts beneath it, up to three are displayed.
