Rave Restaurant Group is a pizza franchisor headquartered in The Colony, Texas, and its shares trade on the Nasdaq Capital Market as NASDAQ: RAVE. The company's history begins in 1958, when the first Pizza Inn restaurant opened near Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Pizza Inn granted its first franchise in 1963, opened its first buffet restaurant in 1969 and began franchising outside the United States in the late 1970s. The holding company, formerly Pizza Inn Holdings, adopted the Rave Restaurant Group name in 2015 to reflect a broader multi-brand strategy. Its concepts are Pizza Inn and Pie Five Pizza. Pie Five debuted in Fort Worth in 2011 as a fast casual format built around individual pizzas made to order. The company is predominantly franchised and also supports its system through a food and supply distribution division. Restaurants are casual and family oriented and serve lunch and dinner, with menus covering pizza, salads, pastas and desserts. A typical restaurant offers about 100 seats in roughly 3,000 square feet, room for buffet dining and family groups. The brands are most established across the South and Southwest.

The Restaurant Enterprise Index focuses primarily on companies with a substantial role in restaurant operations. Investment firms, financial sponsors, and other ownership partners are generally not included unless they also play a meaningful operating role; an otherwise qualifying entity may also be omitted when sufficient reliable information is unavailable.
The ownership hierarchy follows the entity structure from the bottom up, showing the profiled entity in relation to its parent organizations, including its ultimate parent. When the entity owns or operates concepts beneath it, up to three are displayed.
