Fox Restaurant Concepts is a multi-concept restaurant company headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, that creates and runs its own boutique dining brands. Sam Fox, a third-generation restaurateur who left college and put his tuition money into his first restaurant, founded the company in 1998 with a New American restaurant in Tucson before shifting operations to Phoenix. In October 2019 The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated (NASDAQ: CAKE) completed its acquisition of the company, which runs as an independent subsidiary still led by Fox and serves as the parent's incubation engine for new concepts. The Cheesecake Factory is its parent company. Every restaurant is company-operated rather than franchised, with ideas developed at a home office known as the Big Kitchen and each location individually designed. The portfolio includes Blanco Cocina + Cantina, Culinary Dropout and Doughbird, plus 10 others. Menus span American favorites, bar fare, burgers, chicken and Italian dishes for lunch and dinner, in settings that range from lively gastropubs and taco cantinas to relaxed neighborhood cafes. A typical restaurant seats roughly 250 guests in about 7,000 square feet. The company is rooted in the Southwest with restaurants across the Sun Belt and a growing national reach.

The Restaurant Enterprise Index focuses primarily on companies with a substantial role in restaurant operations. Investment firms, financial sponsors, and other ownership partners are generally not included unless they also play a meaningful operating role; an otherwise qualifying entity may also be omitted when sufficient reliable information is unavailable.
The ownership hierarchy follows the entity structure from the bottom up, showing the profiled entity in relation to its parent organizations, including its ultimate parent. When the entity owns or operates concepts beneath it, up to three are displayed.
